The palace is located in the centre of Sosnowiec, 10 km from Katowice. It was erected at the end of the 19th century in neo-Baroque style and is surrounded by parkland. The palace houses a museum featuring a unique collection of modern glassware. It is the only collection of this kind in Poland. The museum also houses many temporary exhibitions.
